We can offer suggestions for how the Sarasota County Comprehensive Plan could be changed. Now is the time. We only have this opportunity every 7 years. The ‘comp Plan’ plan addresses things which could make our communities more walkable or bikable, more connected. It impacts how accessible healthy foods are by making it easier to start a farmers market, fruit stand, or community garden. Utimately, changes in the comp plan can make it easier for members of our community to make healthy choices.
